We left Mackinaw City and headed for "The Bridge" at about 6:00 a.m. On the way to Charlevoix, the fog closed in again just as we had passed "Grey's Reef".

We could hear the foghorns of freighters but could only see them on radar. We stayed well clear of the shipping lanes as we worked our way southbound.

The fog never let up, and we had to use radar to pinpoint the harbor entrance into Charlevoix. We had another great meal ashore and look forward to another day of southbound progress.
