Another early pre-dawn departure, but what a pretty morning. The scent of pine in the air was so strong you could almost taste it.

About 5 miles out, the fog closed in, and at times we were down to 1/4 mile or less on the visibility. One person on the helm and another on the radar seemed to be a workable duty watch. About mid-morning, the fog burned off and we enjoyed the scenery and a great sail, all the way to Mackinaw City.
