Racine,
WI
Racine North Breakwater Light rises 53 feet above the water and is shown
from a red square tower on the outer end of the N breakwater. The harbor entrance channel
leads between converging breakwaters. Storage tanks on the N side of the river mouth are
prominent. Caution: The narrow channel for the old
original harbor makes navigation for larger vessels difficult. This harbor may have
considerable wave action during periods of strong NE to SE winds not found in the new
harbor.
