Port Sheldon, MI Port Sheldon is a small harbor in Pigeon Lake which is connected to Lake Michigan by an entrance channel protected by two piers, each marked at the outer end by a private light. Caution: The primary purpose of the channel is to provide cooling water for the power plant on the N side of the lake. Mariners entering the harbor do so at their own risk. No public small-craft facilities are available. Breakwater South Light: 42 54.0 N 86 13.1 W Not for Navigation. Refer to NOAA Chart 14906.
